Role: Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will be a crucial part of our growth, responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing new SME clients within the UK market. Your primary focus will be on outbound sales, systematically targeting businesses that can benefit from our comprehensive finance offerings. This is a hands-on sales role that requires a proactive, organized, and driven individual with a proven track record in outbound sales, particularly within the business finance sector.

Key Responsibilities 🫡

Lead Generation and Qualification:

- Systematically research and identify potential SME clients within the UK market.

- Develop and execute strategies for effective outbound lead generation.

- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our target customer profile.

Outbound Sales and Relationship Building:

- Initiate contact with prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and professional networking.

- Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our finance solutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.

Sales Process Management:

- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to successful closure.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.

- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

Market Intelligence:

- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in UK SME business finance.

- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve our offerings and sales strategies.

Essential Skills and Experience 🔬

- Proven Outbound Sales Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of successful outbound sales experience, specifically targeting SME businesses.

- Experience with specific financial products: business loans,invoice finance, asset finance

- UK SME Finance Experience: Knowledge of the UK SME lending space

- Business Finance Acumen: Strong understanding of business finance products and services relevant to SMEs in the UK.

- Organizational and Systematic Approach: Highly organized with a methodical approach to sales planning, execution, and follow-up.

- Drive for Results: A strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets with a tenacious and resilient attitude.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely.

- Negotiation and Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals.

- CRM Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software to manage leads, track activities, and report on progress.

- Independent and Team Player: Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
